ETERNUS DX80 S2

ETERNUS DX80 S2 is the affordable disk storage solution in small and midsize environments, but also designed for branch office scenarios of large enterprises. It flexibly scales from two up to 120 disk drives. Different 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch drive types (SAS, Nearline SAS, SSD) are supported even in mixed configurations. On demand for higher capacities drive upgrades are possible with non-stop robustness.

System operation reliability is guaranteed by redundant hot-pluggable components such as power supplies, fans and RAID controllers. A maximum of flexibility is also given by support of all relevant RAID levels.

For host attachment customers can choose either Fibre Channel, Fibre Channel over Ethernet, iSCSI or SAS interfaces which are changeable during the lifecycle.

The ETERNUS SF Express management software provided with ETERNUS DX80 S2 simplifies monitoring, management and data copy tasks for multiple ETERNUS DX disk storage systems from a central console.
